In this 2nd game of 3 grading games, Hillcrest won 54 to 12. This game was played on a sunny day at Hillcrest and there were similar conditions the week before at Fraser High School, where Hillcrest won 59 to 12.

Although the team is struggling to make up a squad of 22, the players are showing plenty of skill & determination. Standout players were Travis Amai, who did a great job at lock, winning numerous lineout ball, Kapri George, who made plenty of line breaks at centre and Reyne Graham was hard working at prop.

Try scorers were; Connor Brodribb, Huw Elias, Kapri George (2), Sean Rudman (2), Sonny Rau (2) & Fergus Schumacher. Fergus also kicked a conversion & 2 penalty goals, with Sonny also kicking a conversion.

The final grading game is on this coming Saturday, at Hillcrest against Hamilton Boys High White.
