Hillcrest Vs Morrinsville 16/07/11
Once again our boys where out played in all areas of the game, it is not hard to see why Morrinsville are top of the table. This game too had some ugly moments with a bit of biff coming from the opposition. I must say it is so good to see the discipline our boys display. At times it must be so frustrating for the boys not let the opposition have it. All in all the boys have played hard and had a good season.

Wow what do we say about this game, our boys where outplayed today. Fraser came today wanting to win with a bonus point. This game will be remembered for all the wrong reasons, thanks to a few bad calls from the man in the middle once again. Gordon will want to forget this game, after his red card for questioning the ref re some head highs and very poor referring decisions.

Hillcrest Vs Te Awamutu 02/07/11 3-30
Wow what do we say about this game, our boys where outplayed by a far better team on the day. Te Awamutu came today wanting to win with a bonus point. The boys will have a hard training this week to get there heads around this defeat. Thank you so much to all the supporters and the feed that was put on for the boys after the match.

Hillcrest Vs Matamata 25/06/11 26-13
Wow what a great game to watch. The boys did really well to come away with a win and a bonus point for scoring four try's. Some really good determined defense as we kept Matamata scoreless in the second half. Dylan was having a great game with his kicking and directing the boys and his tackling is outstanding even thought there is not much too him. Johny soldiered on the best he could with a nice gash to his knee, he did not want to come off though.
Hillcrest Vs HBHS 4 18/06/11 15-15
This was a very close contest that was fought out to the final whistle. Unfortunately our boys could not get a win as they had hope. We had a penalty in the dying minutes which was not converted, this was a lot of pressure for Jonathan. This game was meant to be played at HBHS but the grounds there did not hold up well to all the rain in recent days. I must say that the HBHS management team where really good and give our boys a feed of hot chips after the game which was well received.
Morrinsville Vs Hillcrest 11/06/11 41-31
This game had it all, run away tries, tight head scrums. It was also meet with a bit of controversy with a few high shots not picked up by the ref again. Our kickers did a wonderful job both with 100% accuracy. This game could of gone either way our boys where unlucky in the end to be beaten by ten points as it was closer than that. The game was really tick for tact. Unfortunately Morrinsville got two run away tries in the last 5 mins. Our boys struggle to change their game when bad decisions go against them. We did manage to at least get a bonus point out of the game due to scoring four tries. Mentally our boys won this game. Well done boys you should be proud of yourselves. We continue to receive great support from parents, caregivers, grandparents. A big thank you to Stephen Kays mum for taking some great action shots.

This game was meet with a bit of sorrow for one of the Fraser boys who unfortunately broke his leg in the first three minutes of the game. This spurred the Fraser boys on to get the ball out wide to their speedsters. Some good determined running from Gary sparked our boys into action. Was a good clean game all round.

Wow what do we say about this game, it was meant with a bit of controversy thanks to the man in the middle. But we are not allowed to ditch the man in the middle. Well I think that something needs to be done when the ref makes so many mistakes that affects an outcome of the game like he did on Saturday. Big heads up to Rikki for a great kick and chase that lead to one of his two try's. This game was played right to the dying seconds. Unfortunately we did not get the result that we wanted it was a close game. Thank you to all our supporters for getting the boys to the game.

Wow what a game, that was a game that rattled the nerves of all the supporters. This game was played right to the dying seconds. Well done boys you pulled of a great win today. This game had it all 2 run away trys 1 intercept try and good old fashioned forwards pick and go.
We have some great wheels out wide with speed to burn. Nick and Gary combined well for the 1st try, these boys have speed to burn. Frank the tank took a great intercept pass to run to the line for his try. Trent is no slouch either with a good try down the left wing. Rikki got a good try on back of the forwards good rumble forward. What a great team effort today boys.
